Institutional Investors Boost Stakes in Stryker and Strategy Inc

Manitou Investment Management Ltd. increased its holding in medical‑technology maker Stryker Corporation by 40.5%, bringing its position to 117,276 shares valued at about $36.9 million, making Stryker the fund’s sixth‑largest holding.

SEB Asset Management AB, the investment arm of Sweden’s SEB Bank, raised its stake in Strategy Inc. (formerly MicroStrategy) to 53,837 shares worth roughly $5.3 million, a modest 1% increase. Strategy Inc. holds a large corporate Bitcoin treasury, and institutions like SEB use the stock to gain Bitcoin exposure without direct custody.

Both moves reflect a broader trend of large institutional investors adding positions in high‑profile U.S. equities to diversify portfolios and, in the case of Strategy, to obtain leveraged cryptocurrency exposure.
