Institutional Investors Boost XRP ETF Holdings
Franklin Templeton clients purchased $5.66 million of XRP through the firm’s XRPZ ETF, adding to a growing trend of regulated crypto‑asset exposure. The purchase was highlighted by Bitrue, noting that U.S. spot XRP ETFs have amassed over $1 billion in assets and recorded strong net inflows in recent weeks.
Leisure Capital Management, a Kansas‑based wealth manager, disclosed a holding of 16,745 shares of the Franklin XRP Trust ETF (XRPZ) worth about $206,000 as of June 30, according to a recent SEC filing. While modest, the stake sits alongside the firm’s positions in major technology stocks such as Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia and Amazon. Other U.S. advisors have reported larger XRP ETF positions, including Realta Investment Advisors with more than $260 million in a separate XRP ETF and Vista Finance with an $11.45 million stake in the Franklin XRP Trust ETF. The expanding 13F filings indicate rising comfort among traditional asset managers with XRP investment vehicles.
