Instituto Confucio celebrates 18th Chinese Culture Week

The Instituto Confucio Santo Tomás and Universidad Santo Tomás are hosting the 18th Chinese Culture Week from September 28 to October 2. The event aims to connect the academic community with Chinese traditions, history, and contemporary developments through both in-person and virtual activities.

The program includes photographic exhibitions, lectures on Chinese tourism, and discussions regarding the relationship between Chile and China. Academic sessions will cover topics such as government management, artificial intelligence, and China's role in the new international order.

Cultural activities feature a Mid-Autumn Festival celebration, a Lantern Festival, and a Tai Chi workshop. The week will conclude with a musical concert at the Palacio Rioja in Viña del Mar, featuring traditional instruments such as the yangqin and guzheng.
