Instituto Consenso supports 2026 Prêmio Congresso em Foco

The Instituto Consenso has announced its support for the 2026 Prêmio Congresso em Foco, an award designed to recognize excellence in the Brazilian legislative branch. The institute, which facilitates dialogue between the supplementary health sector and public authorities, aims to encourage institutional communication and value parliamentary activity.

Pablo Meneses, president of Instituto Consenso, emphasized the importance of technical dialogue within the National Congress, noting that legislative decisions directly impact over 53 million beneficiaries of private health plans. The institute seeks to provide technical expertise to ensure policies are based on evidence rather than situational pressures.

The 2026 awards will feature special thematic categories to honor deputies and senators for their work in specific areas. These categories include Economic Development, Rights and Citizenship, Sustainability and Environment, Health, Innovation and Technology, Culture and Education, and Institutional Relations and Diplomacy. Winners will be selected by a technical jury composed of specialists and civil society representatives.
