IFSP launches student representation consultation and extension projects
The Instituto Federal de São Paulo (IFSP) has launched several institutional initiatives focused on student engagement and academic development. The institution is currently conducting a public consultation to establish new regulations for student representation entities, including student unions, academic centers, central directories, and athletic associations. This process allows students from all campuses to submit suggestions via an electronic form to strengthen institutional recognition and student rights.
Additionally, the IFSP is opening applications for extension projects aimed at promoting student access, permanence, and success. These projects, which align with the Ministry of Education's (MEC) Rede APE program, seek to strengthen the interaction between the institution and its local communities through social, cultural, and scientific actions.
In Caraguatatuba, the institution recently held the XVI Meeting of Extension Coordinators and the I Seminar on Access, Permanence, and Success. These events brought together staff and managers to discuss institutional policies and the strategic role of extension activities in connecting campuses with their territories.
