Instituto San Antonio celebrates 125 years in Villa María

The Instituto San Antonio celebrated its 125th anniversary in Villa María with a central ceremony attended by local authorities, educators, and families. The event honored the institution's long history, which began in 1901 with the arrival of the Franciscan Tertiary Missionary Sisters.

Mayor Eduardo Accastello attended the ceremony, describing the school as “part of the heart of this city” and noting its role in human development through education. The institution's roots trace back to a small school for girls founded by Monsignor Bernardino Maciel, which evolved into the current educational complex.

The school's historical significance is further marked by the San Antonio Chapel, built in 1926, which is recognized as a Cultural Heritage site of the Córdoba Province.
