Instituto Tecnológico de Tijuana students report infrastructure crisis

Students at the Instituto Tecnológico de Tijuana (ITT), Otay campus, have issued a formal complaint regarding the deteriorating state of their educational facilities and a lack of institutional transparency. The students report significant infrastructure deficiencies, including poor parking conditions, insufficient green spaces, and a lack of adequate areas for study and rest.

Key concerns include overcrowded classrooms and the absence of air conditioning, which complicates learning during high temperatures in the border region. Students noted that some classes must be held in open spaces due to inadequate building conditions. Furthermore, the student body has questioned the management of funds collected through enrollment fees and other services, citing a lack of accountability regarding investments in physical spaces, equipment, and teaching staff.
