Insurance benefits secure future of Bandung educational foundation

Auzar, an 84-year-old man in Bandung, has received Rp562 million in insurance benefits following the death of his nephew in a 2026 accident. The deceased nephew had been responsible for the operations and finances of an educational foundation that supports approximately 700 students.

To ensure the foundation's continuity, the nephew had previously secured sharia life insurance through Prudential Syariah via a referral from Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) in October 2025. He designated Auzar as the beneficiary without prior notification. This financial protection was intended to assist Auzar in managing the foundation's responsibilities and financial stability after the nephew's passing.
