In Argentina, specialists emphasize the importance of preventive strategies, particularly during the high-attention months of September, October, and November. Recommendations include utilizing the current moderate-to-low water levels of the Paraná River for planning, declaring water emergencies to expedite critical infrastructure maintenance like canal cleaning, and ensuring communication in rural areas through technologies like Starlink.

In the livestock sector, INTA specialists recommend proactive management to mitigate risks before spring. Suggested actions include investing in infrastructure to improve cattle access to pastures, preparing high-ground areas for food reserves, and managing livestock categories based on their specific physiological and sanitary needs to ensure welfare during potential flooding events.
