Inteam member addresses claims of media sidelining at AIM 25
Hazamin Harun, a member of the nasyid group Inteam, has addressed claims that a fellow nasyid singer was sidelined by the media during the 25th Anugerah Industri Muzik (AIM 25) held at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching in Sarawak.
Hazamin suggested that the incident was likely a technical misunderstanding rather than intentional exclusion. He noted that the Best Nasyid Song category was one of the earliest announced, and media personnel may not have been fully prepared to capture reactions as winners exited the hall. He added that Inteam experienced a similar situation when they won the Best Group Vocal category, as the media was also not yet ready to conduct interviews at that moment.
Speaking at a press conference for the Hijjaz Rindu Sumayyah concert at Istana Budaya, Hazamin expressed praise for the event organizers and their hospitality. He also suggested that the controversy might have been amplified by social media strategies to gain broader coverage.
