Integrated Employment Program concludes training in Moaña and Ferrol
The Integrated Employment Program, funded by a 220,000 euro investment from the Xunta de Galicia, has concluded recent training cycles in the municipalities of Moaña and Ferrol.
In Moaña, approximately 100 unemployed individuals completed the program, which utilizes a combination of theoretical and practical training to align skills with current market demands. The initiative aims to provide professional certificates and facilitate direct access to employment contracts through collaboration between regional administration and local councils.
In Ferrol, the 15th edition of the program reported a 75% job placement rate, with 75 out of 100 participants securing employment. The training covered various sectors, including logistics, retail, cleaning, hospitality, and fresh food sales. Local officials noted that over 1,500 participants have benefited from the program throughout its 15-year history.
