Intel and Samsung hardware leaks reveal upcoming processor and tablet specifications

Leaked technical details have emerged regarding upcoming high-performance hardware from Intel and Samsung.

According to leaks concerning Intel’s Nova Lake architecture, the Core Ultra 9 4995HX mobile processor is expected to feature 28 CPU cores. This configuration reportedly utilizes an 8+16+4+2 architecture, including eight performance cores, 16 efficiency cores, four low-power efficiency cores, and two Xe3 graphics cores. This represents an increase of four cores compared to the current Arrow Lake-HX flagship, aided by a new LPE cluster. The chip is expected to be built on TSMC’s N2P node.

Separately, specifications for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S12+ suggest the tablet will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset built on a 3nm process. The hardware is expected to include 12 GB of RAM, a 12.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and storage options of 256 GB or 512 GB. The device is tentatively expected to launch around October 2026.
