Intel delays high-performance APU development to 2028

Intel is reportedly delaying its direct competition to AMD's Ryzen APUs. Leaks suggest that the development of the Nova Lake-S processor, which was intended to feature a powerful 12-core Xe integrated GPU, has been shifted to the Razor Lake-S generation. This change means a high-performance desktop APU from Intel may not arrive until late 2027 or early 2028.

In handheld gaming, MSI has confirmed a new version of its Claw 8 EX AI+ console. This model will utilize the Intel Arc G3 platform, specifically the Intel Arc B370 graphics. While less powerful than the Extreme version, this model is expected to feature 10 Xe3 cores, 32 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and a 512 GB storage unit, potentially offering a more affordable entry point for users.
