Intel Marks Ten Years of Master Challenger Tournament at ChinaJoy

Intel celebrated the tenth anniversary of its Master Challenger (IMC) esports tournament during the ChinaJoy 2026 exhibition. The event highlighted the evolution of IMC from a grassroots competition for ordinary gamers to a platform that can feed players into professional leagues such as Intel Extreme Masters. Over the years the tournament has expanded its game roster, now featuring titles like "Naraka: Bladepoint" and "Valorant".

At the show floor Intel showcased its latest Core Ultra 200S Plus processors and Z890 series motherboards in high‑performance desktop rigs, demonstrating a 15 % average gaming performance gain over the previous generation. New features such as DDR5‑7200 memory support, higher inter‑chip frequencies, and the Intel Binary Optimization Technology (IBOT) were highlighted for improving frame stability and reducing latency.
