Intel Panther Lake powers ASUS Zenbook Duo laptop and new Mini PCs

ASUS unveiled the Zenbook Duo UX8407, a premium dual‑screen laptop built around Intel’s Panther Lake Core Ultra X9 388H processor. The 16‑core chip runs up to 5.1 GHz and includes a 50 TOPS NPU for local AI tasks. The device pairs two 14‑inch Lumina OLED Pro displays with 3K resolution and a 144 Hz refresh rate, an Intel Arc B390 iGPU, 32 GB LPDDR5X RAM, a 2 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD and a 99 Wh battery that offers more than 11 hours of use.

A separate guide highlighted several Mini PCs that also adopt Panther Lake. MSI’s Cubi NUC AI+ 3MG packs a Core Ultra 9 300, a 100 TOPS AI engine (50 TOPS NPU) and a compact 0.51‑L chassis with Thunder‑bolt 4, dual 2.5 GbE LAN and USB‑C ports. ASUS’s NUC 16 Pro uses a Core Ultra X9, an Arc B390 GPU and delivers roughly 180 TOPS across CPU, GPU and NPU, meeting MIL‑spec durability and featuring Wi‑Fi 7. Minisforum’s M2, aimed at budget users, runs a Core Ultra 7 356H with a 50 TOPS NPU and 40 TOPS GPU, priced around $575 and equipped with Wi‑Fi 7, USB‑4 and 2.5 GbE Ethernet. All these devices showcase Panther Lake’s focus on on‑device AI processing and high‑performance graphics in small form factors.
