Intel raises prices for Core Ultra 200 Plus desktop CPUs

Intel's Core Ultra 7 270K Plus processor, built on the Arrow Lake‑S architecture, delivers 24 cores (8 performance, 16 efficiency) without Hyper‑Threading, supports up to 256 GB DDR5, includes an integrated GPU and a neural‑processing unit, and achieved top benchmark scores in tests for gaming, 3D rendering, video editing and other demanding workloads. The review noted that the CPU lacks a bundled cooler but is offered at a highly attractive price compared with more expensive rivals.

In March Intel announced an official price hike of 15‑16 % for the refreshed Core Ultra 200 Plus lineup. The 24‑core Core Ultra 7 270K Plus rose from $299 to $349.99 (about 8 950 CZK), while the 18‑core Core Ultra 5 250K Plus increased from $199 to $229.99 (about 5 900 CZK). The increase reflects Intel's effort to improve margins amid rising memory costs and stiff competition from AMD in the retail desktop segment.
