Intel hikes prices for Core Ultra PCs and Xeon server chips

Intel announced price increases across two product lines. For its consumer‑grade Arrow Lake‑based Core Ultra 200S Plus desktop CPUs, list prices rise by US$30‑50 per model, such as the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus now priced at $349. The adjustments are limited; most other consumer CPUs remain unchanged.

In the enterprise segment, Intel’s Xeon server processors see much larger hikes. Selected high‑end models, including the flagship Xeon 6980P, are now listed around $14,000, with increases of several hundred to several thousand dollars on other Xeon 8000‑series chips. Intel attributes the changes to higher production costs, rising memory component prices and strong demand driven by artificial‑intelligence workloads in data‑centers. Analysts note the moves also improve margins, giving Intel pricing power amid an ongoing supply‑chain squeeze for high‑performance CPUs.
