Intel releases performance package to optimize PC and gaming speeds

Intel has released the Intel Platform Performance Package, a software suite designed to maximize computer performance by managing power, temperature, and processor behavior in real time. The package integrates technologies such as Intel Dynamic Tuning Technology (TDT) and Intel Application Optimization (APO).

APO is specifically designed to increase frame rates (FPS) in various games by directing chip resources to the fastest cores at the appropriate moments. The suite also includes graphics card telemetry drivers and intelligent system component management.

Intel advises caution regarding installation. The package is not recommended for corporate or managed network PCs. Additionally, users of laptops from manufacturers such as ASUS, Lenovo, HP, or Dell are encouraged to use updates provided via the manufacturer's support site or Windows Update, as these brands often tailor drivers to specific cooling systems and hardware chassis.
