Intel to unify Nova Lake processors under Core Ultra 4000 name
Intel is moving toward a unified naming convention for its next generation of processors, currently known as ‘Nova Lake’. The chips will be marketed under the single brand name Core Ultra 4000.
This rebranding aims to simplify the purchasing process for consumers by replacing complex, category-specific names with a single identifier. The Core Ultra 4000 series will encompass a wide range of devices, including high-performance desktop computers and thin-and-light laptops.
Beyond the name change, the new processor family is expected to feature a redesigned internal architecture focused on reducing power consumption and managing heat more effectively during multitasking. The hardware is also being optimized to support heavy artificial intelligence applications and improve daily task execution speeds.
