Inter and Roma seek €50‑60 million from player sales to meet UEFA rules

Both Inter Milan and A.S. Roma are planning extensive player sales this summer to raise roughly €40‑60 million each and comply with UEFA’s financial‑fair‑play requirements. Inter’s board aims to generate a €40‑50 million “treasure” by off‑loading players who no longer fit Simone Inzaghi’s project, including Argentine striker Joaquín Correa (target price about €10 million, with interest from Saudi Arabia and Turkey), midfielder Lucien Agoumé and several younger prospects such as Gaetano Oristanio, Zinho Vanheusden and the Esposito brothers. The proceeds are intended to fund key signings and preserve the club’s economic stability while defending its domestic title.

Roma faces a €60 million deadline by 30 June and is also looking to sell assets to stay within the parameters of its 2022 UEFA agreement. Potential departures include defenders Koné and Ndicka, as well as Calafiori for around €6 million. Additional candidates are in talks with clubs such as Genoa (Baldanzi for €8 million) and Nottingham Forest (Ziolkowski for €15‑17 million). The club also expects ancillary income from international TV rights and capital‑gain entries to help meet the target.
