Inter Basket secures historic victory in Slovak Basketball League debut

Inter Basket secured a historic victory in their debut season of the Tipos Slovak Basketball League (SBL). Despite being the youngest team in the league, the Bratislava-based squad defeated Komárno with a score of 81-74.

Coach Theodoros Giovannis noted that the team maintained their lead from the third minute of the game until the final whistle. He emphasized that the win demonstrated the competitiveness of their young Slovak roster. Player Kyle Pulliam stated that the victory validates the hard work put in during the preseason and serves to boost the team's confidence against expectations that they would struggle at the bottom of the standings.
