Inter Bratislava goalkeeper sent off, captain Juraj Piroška steps in during 0‑1 loss to Žilina B

Inter Bratislava were defeated 0‑1 by MŠK Žilina B in the second round of the Slovak 2. liga at the Pasienky stadium. Senegalese striker Talla Diouf opened the scoring in the 22nd minute. In the 82nd minute Inter goalkeeper Michal Šulla was shown a red card for denying a clear goal‑scoring opportunity, leaving the team without any substitutions. Team captain and former international Juraj Piroška was forced to take over as goalkeeper for the remainder of the match. Despite several chances, Inter could not equalise. The win gave Žilina B three points, moving them to ninth place, while Inter remain winless in the league. The match was refereed by Filip Glova in front of 312 spectators.
