Inter Club d'Escaldes draws 2-2 against Drita in Conference League qualifier

Inter Club d'Escaldes is one match away from a historic milestone for Andorran football. The club is attempting to become the first team from Andorra to qualify for the league phase of a UEFA European competition.

In the first leg of the UEFA Conference League fourth qualifying round, Inter Escaldes drew 2-2 against Drita in Pristina. After falling behind in the fifth minute to a goal by Baeten, Inter responded through Domi Berlanga in the 13th minute. However, Drita regained the lead before halftime via a goal by Jashari. The match remained a competitive exchange of play throughout the second half.

The decisive second leg will be played on August 27 in Encamp, Andorra, where Inter seeks to secure their place in the main tournament phase.
