Inter Europol Competition wins LMP2 at 4 Hours of Spa

Inter Europol Competition secured a victory in the LMP2 class at the FIA European Le Mans Series (ELMS) 4 Hours of Spa. The winning crew, consisting of Jakub Smiechowski, Nick Yelloly, and Tom Dillmann, utilized a strategic pit stop involving less fuel to overtake Vector Sport in the final stages of the race.

In the LMGT3 category, the Ferrari #86 from GR Racing, driven by Mike Wainwright, Max Jensen, and Lorcan Hanafin, achieved its first seasonal victory. The LMP3 class saw a win for Rinaldi Racing with the crew of Pedersen, Rodella, and Cautela. In the LMP2 Pro-Am class, AF Corse took the win following intense competition and race direction investigations.

The race at Spa-Francorchamps was characterized by early chaos, including significant contacts and multiple Safety Car interventions, before transitioning into a continuous period of racing that allowed teams to settle the results through pit strategy and pace.
