Inter Milan opposes Napoli trademark while weighing Provedel signing

Inter Media and Communication, the commercial arm of FC Internazionale Milano, filed an opposition with the Italian trademark office (UIBM) against the figurative mark “Unione Sportiva – InterNaples.” The club argues the mark could cause confusion with its own name as the dispute arises over a project tied to SSC Napoli’s centenary.

Inter director Gianni Visnadi spoke about the club’s transfer plans, saying “L’Inter ha dei dubbi su Pep Martinez” and noting that goalkeeper Andrea Provedel is being considered as a potential signing. Visnadi also referenced Atalanta’s valuation of midfielder Marco Palestra, describing it as “high” but subject to market forces.
