Inter Milan abandons pursuit of Olympiakos goalkeeper Konstantinos Tzolakis

Italian media reported that Inter Milan had placed Olympiakos goalkeeper Konstantinos Tzolakis on its shortlist as a potential successor to Luca Marchetti, but the club decided not to make an offer after signing Ivan Provedel from Lazio.

The 23‑year‑old Greek international, under contract with Olympiakos until the summer of 2027, saw his market value rise to between €15 million and €18 million. A quote in the Italian report noted, “Αν η Ίντερ δεν είχε υπογράψει τον Ιβάν Προβέντελ, ένα project που ήταν ιδιαίτερα ελκυστικό ήταν αυτό του Κωνσταντίνου Τζολάκη, του Έλληνα τερματοφύλακα του Ολυμπiakos.”

With Provedel secured, Inter dropped any further interest in Tzolakis, leaving the goalkeeper to remain at Olympiakos for the foreseeable future.
