Italian football: Inter Milan, Cagliari, and national team updates

Italian football news highlights several developments across Serie A and the national team. Inter Milan striker Marcus Thuram has been excluded from the French national squad by Zidane, despite Kylian Mbappé's absence. However, Inter's coach Chivu intends to rely heavily on Thuram during the international break to pursue both the Scudetto and Champions League goals.

In Cagliari, young Senegalese striker Paul Mendy is attracting significant interest from Inter Milan following impressive performances. Additionally, commentator Riccardo Trevisani noted Cagliari's strong defensive start and praised the talent of Daniel Maldini.

Regarding the Italian national team, coach Roberto Mancini has opted to leave ten players, including Gianluca Mancini, in Italy to manage their preparation for upcoming Nations League fixtures against Turkey and France, avoiding a taxing transfer to Bursa.
