Inter Milan and AS Roma play to a 2-2 draw amid defensive concerns

Inter Milan secured a 2-2 draw against AS Roma at the Stadio Olimpico, a result marked by high tension and defensive struggles. Roma took an early lead through Manu Koné, who eventually scored a second goal to put the hosts up 2-0. The match saw significant friction, including protests from Nicolo Barella and heated exchanges between players like Hermoso and Akanji.

Lautaro Martínez scored to bring Inter back into the game, but the team continues to face defensive challenges. Statistics show Inter has conceded nine goals in six matches and has trailed by two goals in each of its last four outings. Analysts suggest that coach Cristian Chivu must address both individual errors and a lack of defensive filtering in midfield to stabilize the squad following the international break.
