Inter Milan considers Thuram and Bonny partnership for Shakhtar match

Inter Milan coach Cristian Chivu is considering starting the attacking duo of Marcus Thuram and Ange-Yoan Bonny for the upcoming Champions League fixture against Shakhtar Donetsk. The potential tactical shift comes due to the absence of Lautaro Martinez.

Player Piotr Zielinski expressed optimism regarding the team's Champions League ambitions, stating that reaching a high level in the competition is a “dream” and that the squad will do everything possible to succeed. Zielinski also noted that while the team is strong, there are defensive aspects that require improvement under Chivu's leadership.

Bonny, who recently scored his first Champions League goal against Bruges, has emerged as a key offensive option for the squad. The pairing of Thuram and Bonny, referred to as “ThuBo,” has previously played together seven times, including a notable performance during a match against Borussia Dortmund.
