Leonardo Bove attends Inter Milan match at San Siro after Crans-Montana fire
Leonardo Bove, a 16-year-old survivor of the tragic Crans-Montana fire, was a special guest at San Siro during Inter Milan’s Serie A season opener against Monza. Bove, who suffered burns to 60% of his body, was invited to the stadium by Inter Vice President Javier Zanetti following a direct request via Instagram.
During his long recovery at Niguarda Hospital, Bove received significant support from the club. A delegation including President Giuseppe Marotta and players such as Nicolò Barella and Federico Dimarco visited him, providing emotional encouragement through visits and messages.
Bove, a young footballer who previously played for the Milanese club Franco Scarioni, described the experience of returning to the stadium as a moment of rebirth. While still recovering and wearing bandages for his injuries, he expressed his desire to eventually return to the pitch and continue his rehabilitation.
