Inter Milan negotiates contract extension for Pio Esposito

Inter Milan is in advanced negotiations to extend the contract of young striker Pio Esposito. Following a meeting between club management and agent Mario Giuffredi, both parties have expressed a mutual desire to continue their collaboration.

The club aims to extend Esposito's current deal, which runs until 2030, to 2031. This extension is expected to include a significant salary increase. While current earnings are reported to be around 1.1 to 1.2 million euros per season, Inter's proposal is estimated to be approximately 3 million euros, with potential compromises reaching 3.2 million euros.

Despite previous interest from Premier League clubs including Manchester United and Arsenal, Inter Milan considers the player ‘not for sale’ and intends to secure him as a central part of their future project. A follow-up meeting is expected before the end of August to finalize the remaining details.
