Inter Milan intensifies pursuit of winger Moussa Diaby from Al‑Ittihad

Inter Milan are actively negotiating to sign French winger Moussa Diaby, who is under contract with Saudi Arabian club Al‑Ittihad. After an initial €40 million permanent offer was rejected, Inter proposed a €28 million one‑season loan and later an €18 million deal that would include Albanian midfielder Kristjan Asllani as a make‑whole. Diaby prefers a permanent transfer, citing the high salary he earns in Saudi Arabia as a concern for any loan arrangement.

Inter’s coach Cristian Chivu has identified the right‑wing position as a priority following Denzel Dumfries’ departure to Real Madrid. The club has already secured several signings this window, including John Stones and Ivan Provedel, but still seeks an offensive option to strengthen the flank. The negotiations remain unresolved as Al‑Ittihad evaluates the financial and sporting implications of releasing Diaby.
