Inter Milan pursue goalkeeper Ivan Provedel as backup for Martinez

Inter Milan are in talks with Lazio’s agent to sign goalkeeper Ivan Provedel as a second‑choice keeper for the upcoming season. The club estimates the fee at €4‑5 million, but the deal hinges on the future of Lazio’s young keeper Christos Mandas. If Mandas departs, Provedel could join Inter; if Lazio retain him, the transfer is likely to fall through.

Bournemouth have expressed interest in bringing Mandas back to the Premier League, reportedly willing to make an offer below the €18 million buy‑out clause that recently expired. Lazio’s new coach Gennaro Gattuso prefers to keep the 22‑year‑old, citing his age and development. Bologna have also made an enquiry about Provedel, adding further competition for Inter as the summer window progresses.
