Inter Milan pursue Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones as valuation gap widens

Inter Milan have submitted a bid for Liverpool's 25‑year‑old midfielder Curtis Jones, but the offer remains well below the English club's asking price of around £35 million. Reports cite an initial Inter proposal of roughly £17.3 million, leaving a shortfall of about £8.6 million that Liverpool deem unacceptable.

Jones, who is contractually tied to Liverpool until 2027, has expressed openness to a move after limited starting opportunities under new manager Andoni Iraola. Liverpool must decide whether to extend his terms or sell before he enters the final year of his deal, while Inter view the midfielder’s versatility as a valuable addition for Serie A.

Both clubs continue negotiations, with Inter aiming to increase its offer and Liverpool seeking to protect the value of a home‑grown player who still carries significant market potential.
