Inter Milan rejects £40 million Brentford bid for Aleksandar Stankovic as Perisic return looms

Inter Milan activated the buy‑back clause for Serbian midfielder Aleksandar Stankovic, bringing him back from Club Brugge after one season. Brentford submitted an official offer of €40 million, but Inter turned it down, preferring to keep Stankovic in the squad under coach Cristian Chivu.

At the same time, speculation has resurfaced about former Inter winger Ivan Perišić possibly returning to Milan. The Croatian forward, whose PSV contract expires in June 2027, could become available if Filip Kostić departs, prompting renewed interest from the Nerazzurri.
