Inter Milan sells Issaka Kamate to Espanyol

Inter Milan has finalized the permanent transfer of French winger Issaka Kamate to Espanyol. The deal is valued at approximately 3 million euros. As part of the agreement, Inter has secured a 50% sell-on clause for any future transfer of the player, as well as a buy-back option to potentially bring the player back to Milan in later seasons.

Kamate, born in 2004, is a versatile player capable of playing as a midfielder or a winger. While often categorized as a midfielder, his recent performances with Inter’s youth teams showed him operating effectively as a right-sided winger who cuts inside onto his left foot. During his time with Inter, he made a single appearance for the first team in a Coppa Italia match, where he provided an assist.

The transfer follows interest from several other European clubs, including Tottenham, Atletico Madrid, and Palermo, but the move to Spain was ultimately secured.
