Ivan Provedel signs three‑year deal with Inter Milan
Italian goalkeeper Ivan Provedel completed a move from Lazio to Inter Milan for a reported fee of €3 million. The transfer was announced on 17 June 2026 and the contract, lasting until June 2029, was signed after he passed medical examinations on 8 July 2026.
Provedel will serve as a backup to first‑choice keeper José Martínez, providing Inter with an experienced reserve for domestic and European competitions. The club confirmed the three‑year agreement, noting that Provedel, 32, brings years of Serie A experience and previous caps for the Italian national team.
Speaking to Inter TV, Provedel expressed his enthusiasm: “L'emozione è difficile da raccontare… sono molto felice di essere all'Inter. Darò il massimo ogni giorno per meritare questi colori.” He recalled his childhood admiration for former Inter goalkeeper Francesco Toldo and said he hopes to bring calm and confidence to the squad.
Lazio will replace the departing goalkeeper and retains the €3 million fee as part of its summer rebuilding plan.
