Inter nears Palestra signing after Chelsea outbids, Solet talks continue

Alfio Musmarra explained on his YouTube channel that Inter’s ownership structure now relies on a fund, with former owners Moratti and Zhang no longer involved. He said the club raised its offer for defender Palestra, but Chelsea submitted a higher bid of €53 million, prompting the player to choose the English side. Musmarra added that Inter could still invest up to €60 million for another target, Nico Paz.

He also confirmed that the remaining details of the Palestra deal – bonuses and future‑sale percentages – are being finalised and expect a signing imminently, possibly within days. After Palestra, Inter will turn to the Solet transfer, negotiating with Udinese to close that deal in the coming week.
