Inter reaches agreement with Lazio goalkeeper Ivan Provedel
Inter Milan have reached a preliminary agreement with goalkeeper Ivan Provedel, who currently plays for Lazio. The clubs are working on the transfer fee, with Lazio reportedly asking more than the €2‑3 million Inter were prepared to spend, while other reports cite a €5 million demand and an Inter offer of around €3 million. Provedel’s agent Gianni Rava met Inter officials at the club’s headquarters, and the parties have agreed on personal terms for a three‑year contract worth less than €1.5 million per season.
Provedel, 30, made 29 Serie A appearances for Lazio last season, conceding 30 goals and keeping 12 clean sheets. He joined Lazio in 2022 from Spezia and is seen as a cost‑effective option for Inter as the contract of 37‑year‑old Jan Žemlík expires at the end of the month. The deal is pending final approval from Lazio’s president, Claudio Lotito.
Inter have also been linked with other goalkeepers, but the focus remains on securing Provedel as their primary or backup option ahead of the upcoming Serie A campaign.
