Inter San Carlos secured a 2-0 victory against AD San Carlos in the first historic derby of the San Carlos region.

Erick "Cubo" Torres opened the scoring in the 13th minute, heading in a pass from Joel Campbell following a goalkeeper error. Despite intense pressure and several missed opportunities from both sides—including a shot hitting the crossbar by Jeffry Valverde—Inter maintained their lead.

Joel Campbell sealed the historic win in the 65th minute by converting a penalty after a foul in the area. Campbell was the standout performer of the match, contributing both a goal and an assist.
