Inter targets Pavard and Spence to bolster defensive line
Inter Milan is reviewing the future of French defender Benjamin Pavard, who returned from a loan at Marseille. Club officials note that Pavard, previously listed among surplus players, has shown renewed determination to stay and may be offered a permanent contract if suitable terms are reached.
The club is also in talks with Tottenham Hotspur over right‑back Djed Spence, a candidate to replace the departing Denzel Dumfries. Inter plans to open negotiations with an initial offer of €35 million, potentially rising to €40 million with bonuses, aiming to secure the English international before other suitors intervene.
