Interact Club hosts annual camp and polio vaccine fundraiser in Gálvez

The Rotary Club of Gálvez, through its Interact youth branch, is hosting its annual district camp on October 24 and 25. The event, themed around Halloween, will bring together young members from various locations including Rosario, Armstrong, Angélica, San Justo, and San Jerónimo for integration activities, training, and games.

In observance of International Polio Day, the group is launching the ‘1000 by 1000’ campaign. Members have handcrafted 1,000 scented plaster flowers to be sold for 1,000 pesos each, aiming to raise 1,000,000 pesos to fund polio vaccines. Sales will take place at School No. 290.

The event will also feature a community talk by Ayrton Oviedo. The presentation is designed to address adolescent issues, including bullying, gambling addiction, social media impact, and suicide prevention.
