Interagua installs 250 smart valves in Guayaquil

Interagua has installed 250 smart pressure-regulating valves across various sectors and parishes in Guayaquil, Ecuador. These devices are designed to strengthen the management of the potable water network by controlling pressure and flow according to system needs.

The smart valves allow for real-time monitoring from Interagua’s control room, enabling automatic adjustments based on consumption levels. The system decreases pressure during periods of low demand and increases it during peak hours to prevent service drops and maintain stability.
