Interapas renovates drainage infrastructure in San Luis Potosí

The water and drainage operator Interapas has completed several infrastructure projects in San Luis Potosí as part of its fourth package of priority works.

In the Historic Center, the agency renovated 164 meters of sanitary piping along Mariano Abasolo street, spanning from Lerdo de Tejada to Pasaje Zaragoza. This project involved an investment of approximately 1.14 million pesos and utilized high-density polyethylene (PEAD) piping. To preserve the area's historical character, workers restored the traditional cobblestone and quarry stone elements.

Additionally, Interapas began rehabilitation work in the Los Reyitos neighborhood. This project involves replacing 42 meters of 12-inch diameter piping on Margarita street with PEAD material. The work in Los Reyitos represents an investment of approximately 315,000 pesos and is expected to benefit 250 residents.

Both projects are funded through the agency's own resources derived from user payments.
