InterCapital launches new Poland-focused ETF on Bucharest Stock Exchange

A new InterCapital ETF, the InterCapital Poland WIG30TR UCITS ETF, will be available on the Bucharest Stock Exchange starting October 12. This fund provides Romanian investors access to 30 of the largest and most liquid companies listed in Warsaw.

The Polish market has shown a total return of approximately 31.4% in euro since the beginning of 2026. Compared to major indices like the S&P 500 and Nasdaq-100, the WIG30 index trades at a lower price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of approximately 13.4x. Additionally, the Polish market offers a dividend yield of about 3.4%, which exceeds several major reference indices.

In a separate context regarding brokerage services, a comparison between XTB and Interactive Brokers highlights different investment structures. While both allow ETF investments starting from 1 euro, Interactive Brokers offers broader market access, including Canada, Asia, India, and Australia, as well as Romanian stocks. XTB focuses on US and European markets. Transaction costs vary, with XTB offering commission-free trades for certain stocks and ETFs, while Interactive Brokers starts at 0.35 euro per transaction.
