INTERFORST 2026 to feature Kubota engines and forestry women's networks

The INTERFORST trade fair will take place in Munich from October 15 to 18, 2026, featuring diverse industry presentations.

Kubota Business Unit Engine Europe will showcase several new engine solutions for forestry, industrial, and off-highway applications. Key models include the V5009, Kubota’s first diesel engine exceeding 200 HP, and the D902-K, its first electronically controlled engine under 19 kW. The V1505-CR-T engine is also featured, designed for applications requiring regeneration without additional downtime. These engines are intended for use in equipment such as wood chippers and compact loaders.

Additionally, the association ‘Frauen im Forstbereich e. V.’ will host events on October 18. The ‘WaldWirkstatt’ session aims to connect networks and develop solutions for future forestry challenges. A second event, ‘Between Trees and Tradition: Women in the Forestry Sector,’ will discuss the historical development of women in forestry in West Germany, results from the Fem2Forests project, and international developments in the field.
