Interfresa berry sector labor plan supports 17,470 workers

Interfresa has reported the results of its Ethical, Labor, Social, and Equality Responsibility Plan (PRELSI) following the conclusion of the berry sector campaign. The program saw a 60% voluntary increase in corporate participation, reaching a total of 632 participating companies, the highest number since the plan's inception in 2018.

The initiative provided support to 17,470 workers, including 11,517 individuals hired under the Gecco regulation. Integration consultants conducted 5,029 follow-up and extraordinary visits, and 1,476 inspections were carried out in worker accommodations to ensure compliance with socio-labor conditions.

Regarding incident management, the plan recorded 891 cases, categorized as 655 minor, 191 serious, and 45 very serious. The program also managed healthcare assistance, including over 400 medical appointments and 490 emergency room visits, alongside increased support for travel, reception, and return processes.
