Interior design experts share tips for bedroom optimization

Architects provide professional guidance on optimizing bedroom design, focusing on space management and color selection to enhance comfort and well-being.

For small bedrooms, experts Natália de Souza and Duda Senna suggest prioritizing bed dimensions first to ensure at least 55 to 60 centimeters of circulation space on each side. They recommend selecting multifunctional furniture, such as beds with internal compartments, and avoiding unnecessary pieces to maintain a sense of openness. Utilizing vertical wall space for storage is also advised to maximize limited square footage.

Regarding color palettes, architects Bruno Moraes, Danielle Dantas, and Paula Passos suggest moving away from cold whites and bluish grays in favor of warmer neutral tones like off-white, sand, beige, and greige. These shades provide versatility for decor while adding warmth. Additionally, green gradients are recommended as a low-risk way to introduce liveliness and character into the room without being overwhelming.
