Interior design trends shift toward deep colors and warm minimalism
Upcoming interior design trends for the autumn season indicate a shift away from sage green toward deeper, more characterful tones such as dark chocolate, earthy palettes, and deep blues. This transition is being shaped by major industry events in Paris, including Maison&Objet and Paris Design Week.
Designers are moving toward a style described as ‘warm minimalism,’ which prioritizes textured materials like linen, bouclé wool, and Berber rugs to create comfort within clean volumes. Other notable material trends include natural wood, matte leather, blown glass, and chrome.
Several high-profile collaborations are also launching for the new season. Linvosges has partnered with the Château de Versailles to release a home linen collection inspired by Marie-Antoinette, featuring floral motifs and colors like celestial blue and powder pink. Additionally, H&M Home has collaborated with American designer Kelly Wearstler on a sculptural collection of approximately thirty decorative objects and furniture pieces.
