Interior Design Trends Spotlight Minimalist, Mediterranean and Curved Styles

A recent interior design roundup highlighted several projects and product launches. London studio Paraforma created a 53 m² minimalist space with soft transitions and a central wooden volume. Italian designer Maddalena Casadei introduced the A14 bathroom accessory collection for Quadrodesign, reworking existing hardware into new fixtures. Enric Rojo Arquitectura renovated a narrow house in Badalona, turning it into a fluid sequence of interconnected rooms. The National Museum of Decorative Arts in Madrid opened an exhibition on domestic engineers and the evolution of kitchen design. Lighting manufacturer ERCO and control specialist JUNG opened a joint showroom in Munich’s historic Ledigenheim building. Meanwhile, an Instagram‑driven feature showcased five living‑room looks that illustrate current décor trends. Colour palettes favour terracotta, burgundy and caldera tones, while curves replace straight lines in furniture. Natural materials such as wood, stone, handcrafted ceramics and textured fabrics are emphasized. Mediterranean influences bring bright whites and blues, and boho‑chic touches add patterned rugs and colourful accents. These trends reflect a broader move toward warmth, authenticity and tactile richness in home interiors.
